The University of Warwick is seeking a new Director of Wellbeing and Safeguarding to provide strategic leadership for wellbeing and safeguarding across the University. This is a critical role and the post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality staff and student support services in conjunction with general University-wide policy development related to wellbeing and safeguarding and Children’s services. They will lead on the University’s diversity and inclusion agenda to ensure compliance and promote inclusivity with the wider community. In addition, the post-holder will also develop the strategy for health services on campus integrating Occupational Health, Mental Health Services and the external Health Centre.
The successful candidate will have significant previous experience of implementing a wellbeing and safeguarding strategy at a senior management level and will have a proven track record of enhancing diversity and inclusivity within a complex organisation. They will also have knowledge of and operational experience with relevant legislative areas including, DBS, Child Protection, Equality Act 2010 and Medical Records as well as significant previous experience of managing related services and the wider requirements of this function.
