Qualifications and/or membership of professional bodies
First degree and Masters in any discipline
Doctorate in any Social Science discipline
Current registration with a relevant professional body, including the Higher Education Academy
Knowledge and experience
Substantial experience of senior management preferably within HEI
Significant experience of developing, implementing, monitoring and enhancing high quality educational, research or enterprise and employer engagement activities
Experience of financial planning and resource allocation
Successful track record of academic leadership and team building
Proven experience of managing staff and their performance
Successful track record in delivering improvements in the student experience and in student satisfaction
Evidence of ability to:
