The University Finance Office is seeking to appoint a Student Collections Manager to support Student Finance. Reporting to the Head of Student Finance, you will run and maintain the University’s student income ledger, which includes receipts posting, Credit Control processes, management of our external debt collectors, and the day to day management and co-ordination of the Student Collections team.
You will be a fully qualified Credit Manager and/or accountant with experience of collections ledger supervision. A strong leader with excellent management, organisational and communication skills, you will supervise and monitor a team of a Senior Finance Officer, four Credit Controllers, and a Finance Assistant. Highly experienced in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams, you will also have a high level of numeracy skills.
This post is currently within the Student Administrative Services Team, but will become part of the Finance Office as of the 1 January 2021.

A £2,000 per annum market supplement (pro-rated and non-pensionable) is available for the successful applicant on provision of evidence they hold the appropriate accountancy qualifications.
