It is an exciting time to join Warwick as we launch our new research impact strategy, which seeks to grow the economic and societal impact arising from Warwick’s excellent research, across all disciplines. The Assistant Director (Head of Research Impact) will play an instrumental role in enabling researchers to deliver impact from their research and will develop and lead on initiatives that enhances and drives forward a culture of impact across the university.
The postholder will lead a team of 12 research impact support specialists and will provide advice and guidance on matters relating to research impact, engaging with colleagues and stakeholders across all Faculties.
The role holder will also be a member of the R&IS Senior Management team making an important contribution to the overall leadership of the department.
Situated in Research & Impact Services, the successful candidate will join a friendly and welcoming department, and benefit from a culture of continual professional development. The role will appeal to those with experience of working within a research support environment in higher education and leading a team of specialist practitioners.
