We are excited to offer an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and progressive University as our new Director of Academic Quality and Enhancement. This post will play a critical role in ensuring academic quality runs as a golden thread through our broad and diverse provision. Our course portfolio includes undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research provision, apprenticeships and CPD at three UK campuses, a campus in Cyprus, and across an extensive range of UK and international partnerships.
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced individual to provide leadership and quality assurance within this ever-expanding and complex portfolio.
In our culture of continuous improvement and striving for excellence, there will be opportunities to shape and inform the development of our systems and approach to quality assurance, including informing a current project being undertaken to upgrade our student records system Banner.
The Director of Academic Quality and Enhancement will report directly to the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Students and Teaching and will lead a dedicated team of professional services colleagues in our Academic Quality Unit.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record and demonstrable leadership in quality assurance, compliance, and enhancement within Higher Education. Due to the broad course portfolio on offer, an understanding of course validation and working with external bodies both UK and internationally is essential, including the QAA and Ofsted.
