Warwick Foundation Studies is seeking an experienced and dynamic academic leader to join our expanding team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the programmes the department delivers are innovative, high-quality and strategically aligned; driving the enhancement of existing programmes and the development of new. The post-holder will form part of the department’s Senior Leadership Team, working collaboratively to meet the department’s ambitious growth plans.
The successful candidate will have experience of leading the academic development and delivery of preparation or pathway programmes for international students in an HE context.
Warwick Foundation Studies is responsible for the delivery of the successful Warwick International Foundation Programme, the suite of Pre-Sessional English Programmes, In-Sessional English provision and the Warwick Summer School programmes. Our expanding offer also extends to the development and delivery of bespoke programmes of study for international partners.
The successful appointee will be encouraged to develop themselves both personally and professionally through access to a wide range of departmentally and institutionally delivered development opportunities. The post-holder will be expected to engage with peers across the sector and remain up-to-date with matters relevant to the role and wider department. Participation in relevant conferences, both in the UK and overseas, will be expected.
