The University of Warwick are seeking a proactive and persuasive individual who will act as custodian of the University’s organisational design principles. The post holder is responsible for setting direction to enable cultural change, building organisation effectiveness and supporting transformational change through targeted Organisation Design interventions. This is a significant strategic role, reporting to the HR Strategy Director.
You will be responsible for developing the institutional Organisation Design principles for the University of Warwick, working with the University’s leadership teams, to ensure these principles are embedded into the decision making, structures, processes, systems and culture of the organisation. You will lead on Organisational Effectiveness including the design, development and implementation of the University’s approach to objectives management aligned to strategic objectives. You will be responsible for providing input to the University’s Talent Management, Leadership and Management Development and Reward and Recognition strategies.
You will play a key role in liaising with senior stakeholders on the University Executive Board (UEB) as well as regular and effective communication across the University, including to Chairs of Faculty, Deans, Heads of Department, Department Administrators, local and central HR staff and line managers. You will manage a small team of HR staff that lead on the development and rollout of the job families framework, whilst providing matrix management support to a number of staff, who will be involved in organisation design and effectiveness projects
