About the Job
The Information Digital Group (IDG) at the University of Warwick are currently recruiting for a Head of Strategic Portfolio. Your role will be to establish and drive the evolution of the IDG Strategic Portfolio in alignment with the University Strategy and IDG Digital Strategy.
You will develop and implement a future-facing strategic portfolio management framework to enable effective prioritisation based on strategic intent, business need, and institutional ambition. You will inform and make funding decisions, owning financial planning for IDG and for the institution’s planning as relevant to digital. You will own ‘horizon-scanning’ for IDG, ensuring we are at the forefront of digital practice and are able to achieve our ambitions. As the strategic visionary, the Head of Strategic Portfolio ensures the IDG Strategic Portfolio meets the business needs of its stakeholders, fosters innovation opportunities, aligns with architectural principles, and enables the University to realise its strategic 5-year planning objectives and beyond.
What we are looking for
Educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience, you will have significant change management experience as well as proven ability to manage large scale financial and budget planning. You will be a strong analytically and can solve complex problems. You will also have the proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups and be adaptable and resilient in the face of change.
