We are looking to appoint a Professor/Associate Dean Postgraduate programmes to lead and develop our post-graduate education portfolio, to provide a leading edge suite of relevant and authentic learning opportunities that are innovative, engaging and embrace the needs of industry.
WMG has an excellent track-record in this space and are committed to refreshing and developing our current offering, with a clear focus on quality, market appeal and postgraduate attributes aligned to employer requirements. Strategically this is a very important role within WMG. The position is part of the Education Senior Management Team, who are looking to increase income through a diverse portfolio of short course, part time and full time provision over the next five years and ensure the level of service provided to students and industrial clients is excellent.
We are looking for someone who will champion lifelong learning. Candidates will have a demonstrable record of excellence in teaching and be nationally recognised in their own field of specialism. They will be inspirational leaders, with the ability to set the pace and tone of development in our learning and teaching as well as demonstrating a capacity for creativity and adaptability to changing circumstances and technologies. There will be a significant people management component and the appointed candidate will bring higher education and/or industry experience to the role. Candidates with a track record in postgraduate course development and growth are particularly encouraged to apply.
